Go Carless in Seattle!
In celebration of Seattle’s new light-rail line from the airport to downtown, the Seattle Bed & Breakfast Association is offering guests $25 in public transit vouchers. We’re a city of walkable neighborhoods and a very good bus system and all 17 member inns of the Association are offering the vouchers, good for the bus or light rail with a 3 night, or more stay. We are joining the Professional Association of Innkeepers International (or PAII, for short) in their North American campaign to offer gas vouchers and discounts when guests come to stay. But innkeepers here in our mossy corner of the world thought we could do better than that and we are challenging our guests to go Carless in Seattle, saving not just gas but the environment. Visitors can keep more latte money in their pockets if they don’t have to rent a car or pay for parking.
