Taste Washington Wine Month

It’s officially Taste Washington wine month! Throughout March, select wineries and restaurants in the state are offering special takeout menus (plan ahead in ordering – they go fast!), along with recipes for a taste of Washington wines once you return home. Find information on their website: www.tastewashington.org and join in their virtual event!

Plenty of room for social distancing on DeLille Cellars’ deck!

Ready to explore nearby wineries, but want someone else to do the driving? Seattle-area tour company Bon Vivant offers safe, customized wine tours for a half- or full-day, including nearby Woodinville – home of more than 100 tasting rooms. Lunches and snacks can easily be arranged in advanced.  If you’d prefer to designate a driver and head out on your own, Woodinville Wine Country produces a fabulous guide to help you explore their region (just 20 minutes east from downtown Seattle).

Looking for something different? Seattle Urban Wineries is a collective of more than 20 wineries in and around the city. Hop and Uber, or your DD, and enjoy some of these fun, quirky and hyper-local spots. Their tasting map makes it even easier! https://www.seattleurbanwineries.com/locations.

And, of course, if you’d simply like to enjoy a bottle of Washington wine while staying at our inns, each of our innkeeper’s would be delighted to point you to the closest wine shop with a perfect selection to sip during your stay. Cheers!
