I hear that Seattle isn’t a great place to visit in December. The days are short and it is either always raining or the skies are grey. Nothing could be further from the truth. The skies might be grey but people in Seattle know how to do Christmas. The holiday season always brings an array of things for you to do in December. From the annual tree lighting ceremony at Westlake Mall along with the lighting of the Macy “Star” to the Nutcracker ballet or A Christmas Carol at the ACT there is something for everyone. Plan to be along the waterfront and watch the Xmas ship roll by playing Christmas carols and decorated with more lights than you can imagine. Take a ride on the carousel at Westlake Center, and if you have kids in tow a stop at Nordstroms to get the kids photo with Santa is a must do. With the Seattle Bed and Breakfast Association in the Seattle area you will be treated to a warm stay with plenty of cookies and Christmas music from all of its Members. Are members have everything from small houses with just a couple of rooms to rent to huge mansions on Capitol Hill. We all do our best to make the holidays happy for everyone who stays at our Inns.
